Surgical Corrections of Foot Disorders

In most cases, invasive methods are not necessary to correct many foot disorders. Though in more extreme conditions, surgery may be required. The need for surgery will depend on the severity of the condition, the amount of pain the patient is experiencing, and the patient’s past response to various treatments.

Are Bunions Limiting Your Activities and Lifestyle?

Bunions can be very painful. With each step, your entire body weight rests on that bunion. Ouch! A common
misconception about a bunion is that it is an overgrowth of bone that can simply be “shaved off”. In reality,
bunions are complex deformities caused by an unstable joint causing an internal deformity and leading to pain.

WE ARE THE BUNION EXPERTS!

The team of foot and ankle surgeons at Foot and Ankle Center of Iowa / Bunion Surgery Specialists are proud to have successfully corrected over 1,000 bunion deformities with Lapiplasty 3D Bunion Correction to date!
